SAY GOODBYE TO BORING VIRTUAL EVENTS
CORPORATE VIRTUAL WINE TASTINGS
It is possible, you can have fun over zoom!
- Everyone is seriously over zoom
- You've tried other virtual events, and they feel cheesy
- You don't have time to figure out how to ship wine around the country (or the world!)
- You need someone who can organize and deliver an excellent virtual experience
- You want your clients or team to have a great time, but you also want them to learn something!
Your expert wine teacher
Caroline Conner is a wine educator with over a decade of experience in the wine trade.
She holds the prestigious Wine & Spirits Education Trust Level 4 Diploma, and has honed her teaching skills through her in-person business Lyon Wine Tastings and her online wine courses. She is currently studying to become a Master of Wine.
Caroline pivoted early on in the pandemic, becoming an expert in delivering entertaining and educational virtual experiences through her daily free virtual tastings as seen in the New York Times back in April.
Caroline's approach is direct, she teaches you how to analyze wine, no matter what is in your glass. She's committed to making wine approachable and fun.
As an expat in France, Caroline understands the reality and challenges of an international life, and can manage events for teams based around the world.
Virtual wine events with Caroline are always fun, educational, and interactive.
The fact is - she knows her stuff, and she's happy to share that knowledge with you, your clients, and your team.
Caroline can source wine for you, arrange deliveries, and present tastings via interactive video conferencing.
She teaches you wine tasting technique, before diving into the specific wines, exploring the vineyards on google earth, and finally a Q&A.
Frequently Asked Questions
I'm flexible, if you want to provide the wine or have attendees provide their own wine, I'm happy to work with that.
Usually, yes. Wine is complicated, and each country has its own rules and own portfolios. In the USA, each state even has its own regulations. I lay the options out clearly for you, and together we decide the best solution for your event.
I have Zoom but am happy to work within whatever platform suits your needs.
I live in France so my time zone is CET. I will work in the middle of night, but only if it's worth it for me.
Because arranging wine shipments is complicated, it is also very time consuming. My rate will depend on the number of people, whether or not you want me to provide wines, the number of wines, where the deliveries must be sent, and the time zone.
For an event that does not include wine, my rate starts at €300.
Events are a minimum of 1 hour but usually they run for 2 hours. Although I can get through the meat of it in 1 hour, there are always plenty of questions and 2 hours are easily spent.
