With an impressive career spanning over 15 years in the field of wine, Caroline, an influential wine connoisseur, has been making an impressive mark in the vibrant city of Lyon.
Originally from San Francisco, Caroline embarked on a transformative journey by moving to London at the age of 16, after which she gained a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Oxford. It was during this time that Caroline developed her passion for wine tasting, earning the distinguished title of Top Taster in the annual Blind Wine Tasting competition against Cambridge in 2009.
Caroline then honed her culinary skills with a year of culinary studies at Le Cordon Bleu, before immersing herself in London’s bustling wine trade. In 2012, she completed the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 4 Diploma in London.
Caroline lived and worked in London, San Francisco, and Paris before moving to Lyon in 2017 establishing Lyon Wine Tastings the next year. Undeterred by challenges, Caroline pivoted to online wine education during the pandemic, a move that garnered recognition in The New York Times.
Today, she actively runs Lyon Wine Tastings, co-hosts The Terroir Podcast, organizes French wine retreats, and gastronomic wine events in Lyon. She is a prolific content creator, specializing in short form video. Caroline is most active on Instagram, where she is followed by over 70,000 engaged viewers.
Caroline is actively seeking drinks collaborations that resonate with our brand values, with a particular focus on French brands that are seeking to grow their audience in the USA.

You may notice that sometimes after visiting a site you see increased numbers of adverts from the site you visited. This is because advertisers, including ourselves, pay for these adverts. The technology to do this is made possible by cookies and as such we may place a so called “remarketing cookie” during your visit. We use these adverts to offer special offers, etc. to encourage you to come back to our site. Don’t worry, we are unable to proactively reach out to you as the whole process is entirely anonymized. You can opt out of these cookies at anytime as explained above.
